It has see-through qualities that make a great overlay. With delicate drape, it also adds elegance, drama and softness to any garment. Chiffon is produced by first twisting and then weaving the yarn, giving it a soft feel but a slightly rough texture. Occasionally, chiffon is produced with spandex to give it stretch.
